Jason Lee the Catalyst One was first enamored with hair design at the age of 12 years old. By the age of 17 Jason had a huge clientele and he knew his purpose in life was to pursue a career in the field of Barbering and Cosmetology. After graduating high school in 1997Jason decided to begin his training at Career Academy of Beauty located in Seal Beach Ca. He became licensed in the state of California in1999 and began his career at Carlton International.
In 2001 he became an educator for Sebastian international, learning the art of education, facilitation, team building, and presentation skills from preeminent Sebastian artistic team members, the Director of Education for Latin America and the legendary Robert Lobetta.
In 2002 Jason became an educator for Paul Mitchell and was admired for his cinematic approach to teaching in his seminars. His passion for music, lighting, visuals and explosive high energy brought him a great deal of success and his students quickly became industry leaders and salon owners.
In 2006 Jason became a Partner of the Vietnamese Beauty Expo. He was a featured artist on stage and he shined when he introduced a new platform cutting technique that was rarely ever seen based on a Kinetic art form. He choreographed a haircut on beat to a modern mix of hip hop music and this led him to becoming featured in the Orange County Register as the man with the "Expert Touch."
This Led to Jason becoming the Artistic Director for haircolorxperts in Laguna Niguel California in that same year. He ran the education there while simultaneously achieving his Wella Master Colorist Certification, becoming a certified Pureologist, being featured on "WE Television" and launching his new company called the eVolVe movement; a group of artist entreprenuers who host large scale private events for the hair, music, and other industries within the realm of design and creativity.
In 2009 Jason became the Design Team Director of Lake Forest beauty College located South Orange county, an independent master stylist and a Colure Artistic team member exclusively trained by Alan Benfield Bush, the founder of ABBA, trainer of Robert Cromeans, Angus Mitchell and former lead instructor of the Vidal Sassoon Academy. His work with Celebrity Photographer Jenn Hoffman was also featured in "The Book of Modeling."
Currently Jason is the Director of education for the Lunaray Independent Beauty Academy, Lunaray International Distribution, the founder of the Assistant Preparatory Program, and a proud platform artist representing intelligent hair design creativity through synergistic elements of advanced cut, color, texture, and keratin technical knowledge combined. His commitment to educating others is extremely intense, and his expertise in the art of hair design creativity will awaken your passion for pursuing excellence in every area of your career.
